Recently my spirit friend that i've known since I was 8 within this current life time finally revealed himself to me and a beloved friend of mine that he was none other than Amaymon himself. I had my own spectulations on whether if he was Aamon or another. Considering when I was younger, I had called him Shadow, upon reaching the age of 13 or 14, he decided I address him as Amon.
After all this time, he decided to finally allow both me and her to know who truly is. He simply told us that there was a "particular" reason why he didn't want us to know his name, but thats not for here! (Sorry lol)
Anyways. I've come to the realization that not a lot of people know of this specific Prince/demon and after having him by my side after all these years (and quite possibly life times, still driving deeper into this aspect) but I feel like I can offer some good insight regarding him and my own experiences. Yes this is a mixture of UPGs, SPGs, and VPGs.

Working with him: Amaymon isn't someone who will just go around randomly picking and trying to lure people to him. He has a complicated relationship with mortals I'd say. Very rarely will he work with people, and from what I experienced with him at such a young age, he will challenge you in very aggressive ways that will break you down. Similar to an experience I had with Abbadon who truly wrecked havoc on me (things are good now I promise! lol). He does this in a way to truly see if your worth his time, if you have what it takes to go beyond and if you are truly willing. You HAVE to earn his respect and show him that you are willing. He doesn't like to work with people who he knows damn well won't put in any effort to help themselves in all shapes and forms. And he will know if your being truthful or not. He always knows.
He doesn't like quitters, he doesn't like those who keep wallowing in their own despair and pain. He hates when people allow their own inner turmoil to ruin themselves and will get very angry with you if you don't try to make a geuine effort to fix it and work on it. (I will discuss more in depth within a video on my youtube channel.)
If you are picked or drawn to work with him (and he accepts to work with you) from my own experience and seeing what he does, he does very well with shadow work, breaking down your walls to get to the core of things. He's very protective, possessive, he helps you to understand your own path and helping you along your own spiritual evolution. He will make you become more aware and even help you to become more aware of your own actions, words, thoughts etc. If he knows there is something bad, he will tell you. He always managed to tell me who is trust worthy and who is not. If he knows there is a lesson to be learned, he will rather... be vague and lie, just so that you can learn the lesson at hand. An example of this would be a coworker I thought I was friends with (and I asked him if I could trust her) to his response was "Yeah, you can. You guys seem great." and not much later, me and her got into a fight, that rather made us not like each other anymore. He told me "I might had lied. But you need to start realizing these things yourself and not always rely on me." A good way to describe his methods and ethics would be... Tough love.
Making you face things that you don't want to but knowing you have to head on. He works very well with Lucifer, and ever since I grew up with them they are honestly best friends. They go hand in hand. They are very much polar opposites but work so well together. What Lucifer doesn't want to convey, Amaymon will brutally. Lucifer is more merciful, Amaymon doesn't show mercy. Sometimes however, the two get into fights. Fair warning, but none the less, they are best buds. Like brothers. Funny thing is, one is 3 inches taller while the other is 3 inches shorter. I'll let you guys figure that one out! :)
What to expect: He can come off as really mean, cold and rude, he doesn't hold his tongue back nor his words. Often times his words sting like a snake bite. (there is also the idea that Amaymon's breath is posionous and deadly. This to me is actually his words and how he speaks. Because his words can hurt and can break you down. He knows very well how to truly make someone fold and crush under his words alone.) He won't care about your feelings if he's trying to get something across that needs to be. He doesn't beat around the bush and so forth. His presence is intimidating and strong. He curses/swears a lot as well! He can be comical or strictly stern. It depends on who you are and what relationship you have with him. Often times you will most likely see him serious. He's like a brick wall when he's like this.
He loves to fight and never backs down from one. And that goes for most all different types, arguing, physically, astrally, etc. He doesn't lose easily either. I have however never seen him wield a weapon. He has always told me that it slows him down and he would rather use his hands that are tied to his own abilities.
His rage is something else and very note worthy. You will know when you angered him or if he's upset with you and so forth. You can try and deny it but it grows as intense heat. Which is another thing to mention. He's very warm blooded/hot. And truly I mean it. He loves hot weather, he loves fire, he loves warmth. I've personally (in my experience) never seen him like the cold. His own domain that he allowed me to finally see through lucid dreaming was unbearablely hot! His castle was made from sand and his land was nothing but sand like the desert. And here he has wore his leather jacket without breaking a sweat... You heard me right. If you have ever been to Yuma Arizona or Phoenix Arizona... imagine that heat but more 10x more intense.
How he looks: his appearance without a doubt, I'm sure will differentiate between each individual. However for me and my friend, he's muscular and has rich dark chocolate skin. His hair is short and changes from platinum blonde to a silver white. His hair is somewhat like a buzz cut but just slightly grown out more if that makes sense.
His eyes range and are often either completely black, the whites of his eyes are black and then the actual pupils are a rich gold color of yellow, or his pupils are simply just a golden yellow that looks very similar to that of a snake.
He does have piercings, several at that and often times give the vibe of being rather Egyptian. I feel like this is very important to address with him.
Back to our original topic, he has earrings and several piercings upon his face and ears and tongue.
He is usually seen wearing his leather jackets, a simple clean look as he wears a chain necklace. (Either silver or gold), His shirt is gray or black and wears matching black jeans. With black boots. In his more formal outfit he looks like a prince, someone of great authority. His outfit is black and decorated with different golden and silver embellishments and accents. Almost looking similar to a military uniform as well. He has his hair slicked back as well and his crown matched with his outfit, again being gold and silver. I had drawn him for fun in the colors black and pink when I first saw him in his uniform because of the idea of him looking cute in it!
Correspondences
Name: Amaymon/Amaimon/Amoymon.
Direction: He is considered the cardinal king of the south and at times associated with the east. He embodies the elements of summer but in a darker aspect.
Element: Air and Fire
Scents: Hazel, Dragons blood, Drakkar (he LOVES this scent from my personal experiences), frankincense, Pine, Musk, Agarwood, Patchouli, Cedar, Sandalwood, Leather, Tobacco, Oud, Amber, Benzoin, Myrrh, Cinnamon, Vampire's blood. Just really strong musky scents he loves and ones associated with earth too.
Days: I get that he is associated with Sunday and Tuesday but can be worked with on any day of the week.

(I do believe he is fine with most yellow based stones as well and black stones. But he will guide you to ones he knows you will need to specifically work with him.)
